Barcelona is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe, and it’s easy to see why. With its remarkable architecture, rich history, and delicious food, the city has something to offer for everyone. From the famous works of Gaudi, like the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell, to the Gothic Quarter and La Rambla, there’s always something to see and explore. And let’s not forget about the incredible beach – Barceloneta, where you can relax and soak up the Mediterranean sun. During our visit to Barcelona, we had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona Hotel, located in the city’s business district. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service.
ONE-BEDROOM SUITE AT HILTON DIAGONAL MAR BARCELONA
Our suite was a true definition of luxury, located on the 22nd floor of Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona. The beautiful interior design was a feast for the eyes and the grandeur of the space was impressive. The centerpiece of the room was the large and comfortable bed, which was a true haven for relaxation. The best part was the stunning panoramic view of the city skyline and the glistening sea. We could even spot the iconic Sagrada Familia from our bed, which was truly breathtaking. The combination of a spectacular city view with the calmness of the sea in front of us made us feel like we were in our own private paradise.
BREAKFAST WITH A VIEW
One of the most unforgettable experiences of our stay at Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona was the breakfast that was served in our suite. From the moment we opened the door and saw the spread laid out before us, we knew we were in for a treat. The portions were incredibly generous, with every dish looking more appetizing than the last. We were spoiled for choice with the variety of dishes on offer, and everything was presented with an impeccable attention to detail that truly elevated the experience. Every bite was a burst of flavor and we savored each mouthful, wishing we could have breakfast like this every day.
DINING: “MA’I” RESTAURANT BY HILTON DIAGONAL MAR BARCELONA
During our stay, we had the pleasure of experiencing the hotel’s delectable dining options. On our first night, we dined at MA’I Restaurant and were blown away by the flavorful local dishes that were given a fine touch by the chef. We indulged in the famous paella, crispy patatas bravas, and a decadent chocolate mousse for dessert. The perfectly cooked dishes and expertly mixed cocktails only added to the experience, leaving us with a culinary memory that we won’t forget soon. The hotel’s restaurants also offered a delectable dining experience, with perfectly cooked dishes and nice cocktails to accompany them.
MAIN BREAKFAST AREA
The hotel’s breakfast area and buffet left us impressed. The variety of options was incredible, with something to suit every taste. The omelette station was a particular highlight, as we were able to request our eggs cooked exactly as we liked them, with a range of delicious fillings to choose from.
WHY STAY AT HILTON DIAGONAL MAR BARCELONA?
The hotel’s location was perfect for our needs as well. While it’s located in a quieter business district, it’s just a few minutes away by metro or bus from the city center and all the famous tourist attractions. Next to the hotel, the Diagonal Mar shopping mall provided a convenient spot for shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Our experience at the Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona was nothing short of exceptional. The hospitality, service, and amenities exceeded our expectations, and we cannot wait to return and stay again at this beautiful place, hopefully during the summer next time so we can enjoy their outdoor pool and bar.
